NUTLEY PARKS AND RECREATION LAUNCHES GAIL'S ANGELS "COMFORT BEAR" CAMPAIGN

Nutley, NJ. January 28, 2010 – The Township of Nutley, Department of Parks and Recreation announced today that it launched the 2010 Gail's Angels "Comfort Bear" Campaign. The campaign features the Gail's Angels Comfort Bear, a plush 15" huggable stuffed bear with customized hoodie, which will be on sale at all Parks and Recreation Basketball games and at the kick off Little League Season Opener. All proceeds from the Comfort Bear Campaign will go towards the funding of the Gail's Angels Scholarship Awards Program.

Gail's Angels is a non profit organization dedicated to providing financial, emotional and educational support to women with breast cancer who have an autistic or special needs child. The Gail's Angels Scholarship Awards Program offers educational opportunities to autistic or special needs children and their siblings.

"We've been on board with the Gail's Angels Foundation since its inception," states Parks and Recreation Commissioner, Mauro G. Tucci. "The sale of these cute comfort bears will go a long way in supporting women who really need a helping hand. We're glad the township of Nutley can help."
